About this Event:
From January 1 to June 30, 2021, Portugal will preside over the Council of the European Union.
As Portugal assumes the EU presidency, the impact of COVID-19 and its socio-economic consequences, provide many challenges for the upcoming term.
During our Global Conversation Ambassador Domingos Fezas Vital will discuss Portugal’s priorities during its presidency. In addition, Ambassador Fezas Vital will discuss diaspora programs and the opportunities to develop sister city relationships between U.S. and Portuguese cities.
